India’s Murli Krishna Pharma Pvt Limited, (MKPPL) has expressed its intention to penetrate the African markets with its innovative anaemia eradicating iron lotion,Transdermal Liposomal Lotion.

MKPPL is indeed proud to introduce this world-first innovation: A Transdermal Iron Lotion designed for the delivery of Iron via the skin.

This unique formulation uses liposomally encapsulated, lyophilized nanoparticles of Iron, Folate, Vitamin D3, and B12, blended into a lotion base.

Each 2.5 ml dose delivers 5 mg of Iron with a bioavailability of 70–80%, significantly higher than the <10% typically seen with oral iron products. The transdermal route also bypasses first-pass metabolism, improving patient compliance by eliminating the gastric irritation commonly associated with oral iron supplements.

MKPPL Chairperson/Managing Director, Dr. Satya Ramani Vadlamani said: “Our EU-approved Liposomes Facility can supply bulk liposomes to government facilities in Nigeria (such as Julphar) for local production and marketing under a “Made in Nigeria” initiative”.

Also, MKPPL offers a wide range of Oncology products and Oral Solid Dosage forms, which we are keen to register in the UAE.

Business Advisor of MKPPL, Mr Harjit Ahuja said that the company is looking at exploring potential collaborations/Joint Ventures for setting up a facility in Nigeria for production and marketing.

From Nigeria, the Murli Krishna Pharma Pvt Limited business activities are expected to expand to other countries in Africa, providing the much needed iron supplementation needed by all, particularly both pregnant women and babies.

MKPPL has already made a debut in Nairobi, Kenya in East Africa, with Chairperson/Managing Director, Dr. Satya Ramani Vadlamani in the lead.

MKPPL is also expected to feature at the upcoming World Health Expo, (WHX) holding in Lagos State, Nigeria in June.

The World Health Expo is the world’s largest network of healthcare events, where the brightest minds come together to shape the future of health.
