NAWOJ hails Jumai Ahmadu As Global Peace Ambassador

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ),  Zone D (North Central), congratulates Dr Jumai Ahmadu on her appointment as a Global Peace Ambassador, at the UN Headquarters in New York, United States.

NAWOJ identifies with Dr. Jumai Ahmadu, who is the founder of Helpline Social Support Initiative and currently the Acting Director, Reforms Coordination and Service Improvement Department of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

NAWOJ is optimistic that the appointment as a Global Peace Ambassador will open more opportunities for the gender advocate and humanitarian to serve society even more.

The appointment followed the completion of the Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research (IPPDR) Global Leadership ans Diplomatic Protocol Training Programme designed for diplomats, government officials, business leaders, corporate executives, and professionals to enhance their expertise in international business leadership, diplomacy, communication, and global security.

Jumai Ahmadu holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja, she is a member the American Management Association, Chattered Institute of Administration, Chattered Institute of Corporate Administration among many others professional bodies.

Dr. Jumai Ahmadu is also the Co-convener of the Africa Women Conference, a platform which seeks to bring policy makers and influencers from across Africa together to discuss and proffer solutions to the issues that affect African women and girls.
