The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Zone D, wishes to express its deepest condolences to the NAWOJ Benue and Bauchi State Chapters on the passing of our esteemed colleagues, Winifred Terver and Hafsat Adebayo.

Their demise is a profound loss, not only to their immediate families but also to NAWOJ and the journalism community in Nigeria.

We will always remember their remarkable contributions, unwavering dedication, and unrelenting commitment to the journalism profession, as well as their tireless advocacy for the rights of women and children.

A statement signed and made available to newsmen by the secretary Zone D, Juliana Ofoku reads that; the NAWOJ Vice President, Zone D, Mrs. Chizoba Ogbeche, on behalf of all the executive and members of the Zone, extends our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the deceased and the entire members of NAWOJ Benue and Bauchi State Chapters during this difficult time.

May you find solace in the comforting arms of God, and may the peaceful repose of their souls bring you strength and consolation.
