Okpebholo Mourns Jattu Fire Victims, Vows to Provide Support

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has conveyed his heartfelt condolences and concern over the devastating fire outbreak in Jattu community, which resulted in significant losses, destroying shops and goods on January 21, 2025.

“This incident in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State is sad and unfortunate”, he said.

This tragic event has caused significant damage to property and livelihoods, and Governor Okpebholo extended his heartfelt sympathies to all those affected.

Governor Okpebholo assured those affected that the State Government is committed to providing all necessary assistance, while working closely with relevant agencies, including Fire Service, Emergency Management Agency and Local Government Council to assess the extent of the damage and provide immediate relief.

Okpebholo urged all citizens to remain calm and cooperate with the authorities as they work to address this situation.

“We will overcome this challenge together through collective effort and solidarity,” Governor Okpebholo emphasized.
