EFCC Nabs 37 Alleged Internet Fraudsters in Awka Sting Operation

The Enugu Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters in a sting operation. 

A statement made available to newsmen by the commission’s spokesman Dele Oyewale states that; the suspects, all males, were arrested at Commissioners’ Quarters in Awka, Anambra State, following credible intelligence linking them to fraudulent activities. 

Recovered items include six exotic cars, laptops, and mobile phones.

The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.
