By Nkechi Eze

The Nigeria Police Force has been recognized as the Most Improved Service Delivery Parastatal in Nigeria for 2024, with the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D, NPM, receiving the award on behalf of the force. The award was presented by the National Coordinator/CEO of SERVICOM Presidency, accompanied by other staff members from the presidency, in acknowledgment of the force’s significant improvements in service delivery.

According to Mrs. Nnena Akajemeli, the strides the NPF has taken in recent times to ensure proper service delivery are nothing short of remarkable as regards the service charter and work plan on customer service in the year 2024. She buttressed that the award is given on merit, reaffirming that the Force has improved in service delivery, in many areas such as creation of a customer service work plan to touch lives of Nigerians.

In his remarks, the IGP appreciated SERVICOM under the presidency, for the recognition of the Nigeria Police Force and made it known that this achievement underscores the testament of the dedication and commitment of officers and men who are working tirelessly to improve service delivery of the Nigeria Police Force. He further reiterated the commitment of the Force to improved service delivery and ensuring that the Force delivers its duty to the public with utmost sense of professionalism.

The Nigeria Police Force remains committed to continuing this positive momentum, working closely with the public to create a safer and more secure environment for all Nigerians. The Inspector-General of Police urges all citizens to continue supporting the Force’s efforts by remaining vigilant and reporting all suspicious activities that could compromise national security.
