Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have invited Subomi Okoya, for allegedly mutilating the Naira notes.

The invitation of the 21-year old comes following a video report of flaunting new Naira notes.

Following the invitation by the Commission, it is expected that he will be at the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC in the morning of Monday, January 13, 2024 for interrogation and his statements.

The EFCC remains committed to protecting the integrity of the Naira and enforcing the law against those who abuse or mutilate it.
