Body Of Late COAS Lagbaja Arrives Lagos Airport

The body of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, has arrived at the Nigerian Airforce wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

The remains, which were received by soldiers of the Guards Brigade, arrived at precisely 9 am.
A service of songs will be held on Thursday evening at the Army Headquarters’ Garrison Parade Ground in Mogadishu Cantonment, Abuja.

This will be followed by a funeral service at the National Christian Centre in Abuja on Friday, after which Lt. Gen. Lagbaja will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery.

The body will soon be airlifted to Abuja, where a service of songs will be held at Mogadishu cantonment by 5pm today in honour of the late COAS.
