The Bichi Development Association, Fitilar Jama’ar Bichi, has initiated a tree planting campaign in primary schools across Bichi Local Government Area.
The program was launched at Kanti Primary School, with the association’s chairman, Alhaji Rilwanu Idris Malikawa Garu, emphasizing the importance of creating a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
Bichi Local Government Education Secretary, Alhaji Auwalu Bichi, commended the association’s initiative, describing it as timely. He urged headmasters to collect seedlings from his office for planting in their schools.
The association and local government appealed to the community to Support the tree planting campaign, protect and maintain the planted trees and also promote environmental sustainability.
