The Nigerian Navy has announced with deep regret the passing of Rear Admiral Musa Bello Katagum, who served as the Chief of Operations at Naval Headquarters and played a pivotal role in the operational successes of the Navy in recent years.

In an official statement, Acting Director of Information, Captain Abiodun Folorunsho, described Rear Admiral Katagum as a dedicated and highly respected senior officer whose career was distinguished by professionalism, strategic insight, and unwavering commitment to duty.

The Chief of the Naval Staff, along with officers, ratings, and civilian staff of the Navy, joined in mourning the loss of a leader whose contributions to naval operations and national security were invaluable.
