The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated Mrs. Gozy Ijogun, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Task Systems Ltd, following the company’s emergence as a 2025 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award winner in the United States of America. The milestone marks another international recognition for Nigerian excellence in the global technology sector.

The commendation was contained in an official statement signed by NiDCOM’s Director of Media and Public Relations, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, in which Dabiri-Erewa described the achievement as a powerful testament to Nigeria’s rising influence in innovative technology solutions worldwide.

In her congratulatory message, the NiDCOM boss said, “Mrs Gozy Ijogun and Task Systems have made Nigeria proud once again. Winning a Microsoft Partner of the Year Award on American soil is a powerful testament to Nigerian brilliance, entrepreneurial spirit, and global competitiveness.” She added that the global honour is “a huge victory for our nation and an inspiration to millions of young Nigerians in the tech space.”

Dabiri-Erewa noted that accomplishments of this magnitude help reshape global perceptions about Nigeria while amplifying the country’s growing pool of exceptional tech talent. “Achievements like this change narratives and showcase the extraordinary talent Nigeria exports to the world. Mrs. Gozy remains a shining ambassador of our country,” she said.

Mrs. Ijogun’s academic background was also highlighted in the statement as an integral part of her rise to global tech leadership. A proud product of Nigeria’s educational institutions, she graduated from Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja, before earning a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science from the University College London. She subsequently obtained advanced certifications and executive training from world-leading institutions. According to NiDCOM, this strong Nigerian academic foundation laid the groundwork for her outstanding contribution to the international technology ecosystem.

Task Systems Limited’s global Microsoft honour celebrates the company’s exceptional innovation, transformative customer impact and leadership in deploying advanced Microsoft solutions from its U.S. operations, while maintaining deep Nigerian roots and identity. The recognition places Task Systems among the most influential Microsoft partners worldwide.
