The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced Thursday, November 6, 2025, as the official date for the Passing-Out Ceremony of the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream One Corps Members across the country.

According to a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Mrs. Caroline Embu, the management approved the date following the successful completion of the one-year mandatory national service. She explained that the ceremony would be conducted in a low-key manner across all Local Government Areas, in line with the scheme’s established tradition.

The programme of activities will begin with Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions for corps members at the various local government levels, designed to equip them with post-service career guidance and employment support. The event will also feature the signing and issuance of final clearance letters by Zonal Inspectors to the outgoing corps members.

Mrs. Embu stated that the NYSC remains committed to supporting young Nigerians as they transition from service to active citizenship, encouraging them to uphold the values of discipline, self-reliance, and patriotism acquired during their service year.

The Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, extended his best wishes to all corps members completing their service, as well as to the Monitoring Officers overseeing the exercise. He commended them for their dedication and contributions to national development throughout their service year.

“On behalf of the management, I wish all the corps members and our monitoring officers a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise,” Brigadier General Nafiu stated.

The NYSC management further urged all stakeholders to ensure a smooth and hitch-free ceremony as the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream One corps members conclude their national assignment.
