The Nigerian Army has cautioned members of the public to disregard a fake recruitment advertisement currently circulating on social media and other online platforms, which falsely claims that application for the 90 Regular Recruitment Intake has commenced.
In an official statement issued by the Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Captain A.U. Hammanga, the Army described the publication as false, misleading, and intended to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.
“The publication is false, misleading and should be disregarded in its entirety. For emphasis, the Nigerian Army maintains a clear and official procedure for announcing recruitment exercises and related activities. Authentic information regarding recruitment will only be published through the Nigerian Army’s verified official platforms,” the statement read.
The Army further assured Nigerians that once the portal for the 90 Regular Recruitment Intake is formally opened, the public will be duly informed through its official communication channels. It reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and professionalism in all recruitment exercises while warning citizens against falling victim to fraudsters peddling fake recruitment notices.
