The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) is set to broadcast two special documentaries that showcase the achievements, partnerships, and strategic milestones of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in commemoration of its 61st anniversary and the recently concluded 4th African Air Forces (AAF) Forum.
According to an official statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information for the NAF, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the documentaries will provide a rare and compelling insight into the operational strength and evolving role of the Air Force both within Nigeria and across the African continent.
The first feature, titled NAF Day Event Roundup, will air on Thursday, 7 August 2025 from 10:05 to 10:30 p.m. This documentary offers a comprehensive look into the key moments of the NAF’s 61st anniversary celebration, including ceremonial parades, leadership speeches, and landmark accomplishments of the service over the past year.
The second documentary, focusing on the 4th African Air Forces Forum, is scheduled to be broadcast on Saturday, 9 August 2025, also from 10:05 to 10:30 p.m. Viewers will be treated to behind-the-scenes footage and high-level discussions from the forum, which brought together top air force leaders from across Africa to deliberate on air power, regional cooperation, and emerging threats in the security landscape.
Both documentaries will be aired on NTA via Channel 251 on DStv, Channel 92 on GOtv, and Channel 104 on StarTimes. For online audiences, the content will be available for live streaming on NTA’s official YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/NTALive.
Air Commodore Ejodame described the documentaries as “captivating” and urged Nigerians to tune in, adding that they represent a visual testament to the NAF’s journey of transformation, innovation, and international collaboration.
