DISTRIBUTION OF  RELIEF MATERIALS TO THE  VICTIMS OF WINDSTORM/RAINSTORM   IN 5 LGAs KANO STATE  BY NEMA KANO TERRITORIAL OFFICE

As part of living up to its mandate, the Coordinator, NEMA Kano Territorial Office (Dr. Nura Abdullahi), on behalf of the Director General, kicked started the distribution of relief materials to the victims of rainstorm/windstorm incidences in the following local government areas of Kano state:

1. Rano LGA

2. Madobi LGA

3. Rimin Gado LGA

4. Tofa LGA

5. Ugoggo LGA

The exercise  was carried out at NEMA warehouse, Maganda Road, on 26th February 2024.

While sympathizing with the victims of the disaster, the coordinator explained that the relief items were part of the federal government gesture   to alleviate their suffering.

In attendance were SEMA, Hon. Commissioner for special duties, state and local government officials from the above-mentioned LGAs.
